They will design content that is both informative and visually compelling, schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms, monitor community interactions, and track key performance metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and audience growth. In addition to content creation, learners will analyze the impact of their work and provide insights and recommendations to inform DiversityTalk’s future digital strategies. This project is ideally suited for students specializing in marketing, communications, or related fields who are passionate about using digital media to promote social change. Tasks and Activities: Research and create social media content (posts, stories, short videos) aligned with DiversityTalk’s mission. Design visually appealing graphics and copy that spark conversations around equity, diversity, and inclusion. Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar across platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook). Monitor comments and community engagement; respond where appropriate. Track and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, audience growth) on a biweekly basis. Analyze trends in social justice and EDI to inform ongoing content creation. Provide an end-of-project report summarizing outcomes and suggesting improvements for future social media efforts.
