Mobile App Development
Eat & Vibe Eat & Vibe is a one-stop social integration platform that connects immigrants, tourists, and locals through shared interests like food and fun activities. We facilitate real-life face-to-face interactions, taking you outside the confines of the internet: whether it’s sharing sushi at a restaurant or vibing over a game of bowling; connecting you as quickly as an Uber ride. Our mission is to ease cultural integration and build meaningful in-person connections through authentic social experiences. Project Overview We are currently building out two new key components of the Eat and Vibe ecosystem: Vendor App A dedicated mobile app that allows vendors (restaurants, bars, cafés, bowling spots, etc.) to: Register and verify their business. Create and manage listings (menus, services, experiences). Track customer bookings or vibes. Monitor wallet activity and revenue. Run real-time promotions or offers. Admin Panel A web-based dashboard for internal Eat and Vibe team use, featuring: Full visibility and management of users and vendors. Approval workflows for new vendor applications. Tools to manage listings, offers, and events. Access to platform analytics, user behavior, and transaction logs. Flagging and enforcement of suspicious or inappropriate activity. Main Objective To work with student developers to design, build, and launch both the Vendor App and Admin Panel, laying the technical foundation for business onboarding, operational control, and platform growth. Tasks and Activities Student teams will: Understand the platform, its mission, user experience, and technical goals. Collaboration with Eat and Vibe team in defining requirements and user stories. Design wireframes and system architecture for the Vendor App and Admin Panel. Build core features such as: Vendor signup, KYC, and dashboard Product/listing management Wallet and transaction tracking Admin access controls and activity logs Test and document the systems for future scalability. Present feature ideas to improve usability and impact. Deliverables A functioning Vendor App A fully operational Admin Web Panel. All related documentation (codebase, architecture, APIs, user flows). Testing reports and user feedback logs (if applicable). Presentation of recommendations for next-phase improvements.
