Campaign Planning for a Food Security Charity

FED Urban Agriculture is a registered charity working to create high-impact urban food system projects that support an equitable and regenerative future. Each year, FED runs a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program, where customers purchase ‘shares’ of our farm’s harvest and receive fresh, in-season produce throughout the growing season. CSAs are a powerful way to support sustainable agriculture and our broader charitable work. For this project, we’re looking to collaborate with students to design and implement a marketing campaign that promotes FED’s 2026 CSA Program. The goal is to engage the community, increase share sales, and raise awareness about local food systems. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarize themselves with FED’s mission, values, and past campaigns Conduct research on effective marketing strategies for similar organizations Identify target audiences for the CSA campaign Develop a comprehensive marketing and promotion plan Bonus steps in the process would also include: Developing promotional materials such as social media graphics, posters, and/or short videos
