Togalma delivers fresh, high-quality meals to professionals across Dakar, focusing on both Senegalese classics and international favorites. We’re looking to revamp our social media marketing to better reach our core customer base—busy professionals and corporate teams—while building a recognizable brand online. We’d love to work with creative and strategic students to design and prototype a new social media campaign for Togalma. Project Overview Students will collaborate with our team to design a compelling, data-driven, and scalable social media marketing strategy tailored to Togalma’s operational model and brand identity. Key Student Tasks Understand Togalma’s Offer & Market Study our current operations, daily menu structure, and customer feedback. Identify our ideal customer personas (corporate clients, professionals, health-conscious eaters, etc.). Review operational insights (e.g., delivery timing, popular dishes, recurring feedback) to align messaging. Identify Suitable Channels & Strategies Recommend the best social platforms for our audience (e.g., Instagram for visuals, LinkedIn for corporate leads, WhatsApp for daily menu updates). Determine which type of campaigns are ideal (e.g., daily menu previews, behind-the-scenes cooking, testimonials, flash promos). Content Planning Suggest types of content (videos of food prep, chef interviews, customer spotlights, polls on menu choices). Propose a brand voice and visual identity for consistency. Performance Metrics Define success metrics: engagement rates, reach, follower growth, menu link clicks, conversion to orders. Create a Social Media Content Calendar Outline key posts per week (e.g., “Monday Menu Reveal,” “Chef’s Tip Wednesday,” “Testimonial Friday”). Sync the calendar with Togalma’s weekly menu and delivery timelines. Bonus Contributions Recommend user-friendly social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite) for scheduling and analytics. Suggest ways to integrate social media with Togalma’s feedback system (e.g., QR codes linking to comment forms). Help build templates for recurring content to save time (Canva kits, post captions, hashtags).
