RapidKelvin Cryocooler Integration Project

RapidKelvin is seeking to enhance Americas cooling capabilities by integrating advanced cryocoolers into household systems. The primary goal of this project is to identify suitable cryocoolers available in the market that can be purchased and integrated into existing or new systems to rapidly cool down water or air. The project involves researching various cryocooler models, evaluating their specifications, and determining their compatibility with RapidKelvin's operational requirements. Once a suitable cryocooler is selected, the team will focus on developing a computer interface to control the cooler's operations efficiently. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of thermodynamics, electronics, and computer programming to a real-world application. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners from a mechanical engineering program.
