Details

Naan Culture, a South Asian-inspired food brand based in Winnipeg, aims to enhance its online presence by leveraging the power of Instagram Reels. The project seeks to transform raw video footage into engaging and culturally rich stories that resonate with the local community. Students will apply their video editing skills to craft short, compelling narratives that align with Naan Culture's mission of sharing smiles through food and culture. By doing so, the brand hopes to foster a deeper connection with its audience and establish an authentic digital footprint. The project provides an opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge in digital media and storytelling, while also gaining insights into brand development and community engagement.

Deliverables

Our Story
At Naan Culture, we believe food is more than just something to eat—it’s a way to connect, share, and celebrate the rich diversity of the world around us.

We moved to Canada over a decade ago, and Canada has been incredibly welcoming to us. We've had the privilege of seeing so many different cultures thrive and interact, creating something beautiful and uniquely Canadian. This spirit of diversity and connection inspired us to start Naan Culture.

Naan is the most famous bread in Indian cuisine, and we wanted to showcase the blend of cultures through food. From the traditional to the unexpected, each naan we make tells a story—just like the people who make up the fabric of this country. Whether it’s a blend of spices from India or a twist on classic Canadian ingredients, every bite reflects the cultures that shape our community.

It’s about celebrating the many backgrounds, traditions, and stories that make this country so special. Our menu is a fusion of global flavors stuffed in freshly baked naan, offering something familiar yet exciting. It’s our way of paying homage to the place we now call home, while bringing a little bit of our own story to the table. We’re here to share the flavors of our heritage, embrace the richness of Canadian culture, and celebrate the beautiful diversity of this country—one naan at a time.
