Details

The main goal for the project is to create a social media promotion strategy for My Little Sister's Wedding, an independent film produced by Van Camp Studios. The strategy should aim to increase awareness, generate buzz, and ultimately drive views for the film.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Researching the target audience for the film and understanding their social media habits and preferences.

- Developing a content calendar for social media posts leading up to the film's release.

- Creating engaging and shareable content, including trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with the cast and crew.

- Identifying and engaging with influencers or relevant accounts to help amplify the film's reach.

- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the social media campaign and making adjustments as needed.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

- A comprehensive social media promotion strategy document outlining the target audience, content calendar, and engagement plan.

- Curate an existing portfolio of social media content created for the film, including posts, videos, and graphics.

- An analysis report of the social media campaign's performance, including key metrics and insights.

Final deliverables:

- A detailed social media promotion strategy document.

- A portfolio of social media content.

- An analysis report of the campaign's performance.

Mentorship

The company CEO will familiarize students with Van Camp Studios’ goals, brand voice, and social media strategy. He will be available to meet with students, answer questions, and give direction.

Students will have access to movie clips, behind the scenes photos, and cast interviews to use on social media. The film also has a meme coin that can be used to promote the film.
