Students will work with you to apply the full range of their collective knowledge and ideas through online means to assist your organization. This project is made of two parts. The first is a one to two week smaller project and the second is a longer 5 to 6 week project.
The company will present their organizational challenge(s) to the class. Students will use theory and experience to generate ideas which they will present to your organization in two reports and possibly a presentation or video. You will act as a judge to choose the best ideas and the winning individual and/or team. The company will also contribute by providing grading feedback for the larger project.
Participants
- Part 1 (1 to 2 weeks): The first part of the project would be completed by students individually and would help students think about changes to one or more products/processes to make them more sustainable and more suitable for an environment with COVID-19. Students will write a short paper on their ideas.
- Part 2 (5 to 6 weeks): The second part of the project would be group based and would address in more depth an environmental/pandemic issue. Students will work in groups to write a paper and will present their key ideas to the company through our Zoom class.
