Website Development & SEO
The primary goal is to curate, organize and archive content on mybrainmatters.ca to facilitate new member recruitment and present NHCC in a positive and credible light and as a top influencer with Federal and Provincial-Territorial Governments and their representatives, collaborators in the neurological research and clinical space, and mainstream media outlets. Focused brand awareness, visitor engagement, and SEO will reinforce NHCC’s digital presence and help us to achieve our goal to improve the lives of people affected by neurological conditions in Canada by ensuring the needs of those with lived experience are considered by all levels of decision-makers. Our key objective is a call for a renewal of a neurological population health study to ensure the realities of aging, diversity and a post-pandemic society as well as trends in new research findings, diagnosis, and treatment are incorporated into the current view on how best to meet the needs of an estimated 3.6 million Canadians ( Mapping Connections , 2014) diagnosed with a neurological disease, disorder, or injury and their caregivers. By 2031 it is estimated that the total annual health care costs for Canadians living with Parkinson and Alzheimers/other dementias will double and could reach up to $13.3 Billion ( Mapping Connections , 2014).
