GU INSTITUTE OF EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION(GUIEP) is a non-profit organization focusing on earthquake prediction.
We are committed to overcoming the global problem of earthquake prediction in order to protect the safety of life and property. Earthquakes cause 35.8 billion USD in losses for the top 15 easy-shock countries per year. Earthquake prediction is one of the top ten scientific problems in the world. We can predict the strong earthquakes and strong aftershocks.

GU INSTITUTE OF EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION (GUIEP) is running GU JOURNAL OF EARTHQUAKE PREDICTION (GUJEP). Currently, we have built up www.gujep.com. However, we would like to collaborate with students to create a more professional website. The website likes Science or Cell, but no need to be that much complicated. The website should achieve the following goals: Match the basic characteristics of academic journals. The structure is clear and the layout is concise. The publishing system of academic articles should include: section/Column, title, subtitle, author, release time, introduction/abstract, keywords, text, insert chart, index, comment and other functions. Also include functionality to allow users to download papers in PDF format. Forum/Blog

We need to create the database of all the quakes during the past 100 years. Monitor the main official earthquake websites and grape the latest records into our database on minutely basis.
