The project will involve identifying AI tools that align with the company's needs, evaluating their feasibility, and proposing a strategic plan for implementation. The team will focus on understanding the current workflow, pinpointing inefficiencies, and exploring AI options that can streamline processes. The project aims to provide Hollend Furnishings with a clear understanding of how AI can be leveraged to optimize their operations and improve overall productivity.

Hollend Furnishings Ltd. currently utilizes a robotic machine programming language to automate the reading, saving, and printing of PDF orders and acknowledgements from manufacturers. However, the company seeks to modernize this system by transitioning to an AI-based solution. The goal is to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability in processing these documents. The project involves implementing an AI programming solution that can seamlessly integrate with existing systems to perform the same tasks. This upgrade aims to reduce manual intervention, improve processing speed, and ensure scalability for future needs. The project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of AI and programming to solve real-world business challenges. Once this is completed and proven to work, students can work on other features.

New Employee Training Plan and Consultancy

We want to be known as an organization that values the development of our people. To assist us in this goal, we would like to collaborate with students to design trainings. The high-level training design should be based on our provided objectives and include templates, processes, strategy, and implementation guidelines. We have an idea of areas where training could be implemented, but we would also appreciate insight on recommended training and development areas.  Areas of particular interest to us include: New employee training Develop Hiring Process including a quiz, key questions, disc profiles Prepare updated policies and procedures for employees Training Modules Development Recommendation of third party alternatives for Management of Employees (eg compensations etc) Determination if a third party company would be a positive recommendation for our Company. What are the positives and Negatives of this solution. Leadership development Please Note: We are looking to work with 1 dedicated group of students, or if working with the entire class to be able to give the students the resources they need and let them take control of the project, as we do not have the bandwidth to work with an entire class.
