3d animation rigging agile product development software development character animationWe’ve developed an animation tool for creating 24x7 character performances. Our first product is called Figment, and it uses these character performances to provide pet companionship to people who may not be able to support traditional pets.
We're looking for an animator to
- Help us rig some existing models
- Provide some traditional animations for these models, and
- Help us evaluate our in house animation tool that creates the 24x7 performances
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- An understanding of procedural animation
- Expertise working closely with a software development team including asset version control and agile development
- Mastery of industrial tools like git, Unity 3D, and Blender
Final deliverables include
- Character animations
- Character rigs
- Project mid and final reports
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Direct involvement in project tasks, offering guidance, and demonstrating techniques.
Providing access to necessary tools, software, and resources required for project completion.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
