Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Volunteer Event Management Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in planning, organizing, and executing our events, ensuring their success and smooth operation.

Deliverables

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the event planning team to conceptualize and develop event themes, objectives, and strategies
  • Assist in the creation and management of event budgets, including tracking expenses and revenues
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, equipment rental, catering, and transportation arrangements
  • Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure resources, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships
  • Manage event registration and ticketing processes, including online platforms and on-site registration
  • Assist in the development and implementation of event marketing and promotional strategies
  • Coordinate event set-up, including signage, decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment
  • Oversee event operations during the event, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees
  • Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for various event roles and responsibilities
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis, collecting feedback and identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintain comprehensive event documentation, including reports, contact lists, and project files
