The main goal for the project is to create a short form video that effectively showcases the gallery space and events offered by the Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art. The video should capture the essence of the institute and attract potential visitors and art enthusiasts.

This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:

- Researching the Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art to understand its mission, values, and offerings.

- Planning and scripting the video to highlight the gallery space and upcoming events.

- Capturing high-quality footage of the gallery space, artwork, and events.

- Editing the footage to create a visually appealing and engaging short form video.

- Adding music, voiceover, and any other necessary elements to enhance the video.

- Reviewing and revising the video based on feedback from the institute's representatives.

By the end of the project, learners should complete the following tasks:

- A well-researched and planned script for the short form video.

- High-quality footage of the gallery space and events.

- A professionally edited short form video that effectively showcases the institute.

- Incorporation of music, voiceover, and other elements to enhance the video.

- A final review and revision of the video based on feedback.

Final deliverables:

- The completed short form video in a format suitable for online and promotional use.

MICA will be meeting with learners bi-weekly or monthly as needed, per project. We will provide footage, photos, and other media sources for project creations.
