We want to create the best restaurant search experience anyone has ever imagined. If you are traveling to a new city or have any unusual requirements at all, finding the right place to eat can be a nightmare. This is especially true if other people are involved, and they're not someone you know well. Simmer List is a restaurant search and sharing platform that integrates your connections so you don't need to know all the details of your dinner guest to find yourselves a suitable restaurant.

We want the search experience to be jaw-droppingly simple and elegant. Search is powered entirely by natural language processing and AI, so the user can type natural queries like "dinner with Amy on Sunday night" and the system can infer the appropriate themes, preferences, dietary requirements, timings and so on to recommend a list of restaurants and explain why they might be appropriate. Other than the search experience, the app facilitates a social feed for pictures and reviews, and a list creation and sharing service. The design project should focus on the search experience.

The app in its current form will launch soon, with updates to the user interface to be implemented as soon as the design project is complete.

1. Project Plan- Identify milestones and set a timeline for the project
2. Review requirements and existing designs- Familiarize themselves with the existing product to understand the requirements, design work, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.
3. Create wireframes of the search and filtration flow, and how the results should look.
4. Finalize- Handoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects.

Deliverables:

• Design Audit- audit the current user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Redesign recommendations- design improved flows for the distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into wireframes or mockups that show exactly how the solution could work

• Preparation of any relevant resources and assets in advance of the kick off call
• With a regular weekly check-in call
• Reasonably responsive throughout the collaboration to unsure progress is not blocked.
• Allow the learners to share the work they do for us in job search materials
• Access to the app
