Objective:

Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Rasant/Straps' brand identity and effectively reaches our target audience. This strategy should prioritize building brand awareness, driving engagement, and ultimately increasing sales.


Scope:

  1. Platform Selection:
  • Identify and prioritize key social media platforms, with a primary focus on Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Explore secondary platforms such as LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok if relevant to the brand and audience.
  1. Audience Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough research on Rasant/Straps' target audience demographics, interests, and online behaviors to inform content creation and platform selection.
  1. Brand Messaging & Voice:
  • Define a consistent brand voice and messaging framework that resonates with the target audience and reflects the core values and unique selling propositions of Rasant/Straps.
  1. Content Strategy:
  • Develop a content calendar that outlines the types of content (e.g., product showcases, user-generated content, behind-the-scenes, tutorials) to be posted regularly.
  • Create guidelines for visual and written content to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  1. Engagement Plan:
  • Outline a strategy for community management, including responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers to build a loyal community.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations with influencers, brand ambassadors, or partnerships that align with Rasant/Straps' brand values.
  1. Advertising & Promotions:
  • Develop a plan for social media advertising, focusing on targeted ads on Meta platforms to drive traffic to the website and increase conversions.
  • Plan promotional campaigns, including product launches, discounts, or special events, with specific goals and metrics.
  1. Monitoring & Analytics:
  • Set up tools and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for tracking the performance of social media activities. Regularly analyze engagement, reach, and conversion data to refine the strategy.
  • Prepare reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  1. Launch Plan:
  • Create a step-by-step plan for launching the social media strategy, including a timeline for the initial launch and ongoing maintenance. Ensure that all content and resources are in place before launch.
  1. Ongoing Management:
  • Establish a process for regular updates to the strategy based on performance data, emerging trends, and changes in platform algorithms.

  • Deliverable: Platform Selection Report, detailing the analysis and rationale behind platform choices.

Content Strategy Development

  • Outcome: Establish a content strategy that ensures consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned communication across social media channels.
  • Deliverable: Content Strategy Document & Calendar, featuring a detailed content calendar, content themes, post frequency, and brand guidelines for visual and written content.

Meta Ads Strategy

  • Outcome: Develop a targeted advertising strategy on Meta platforms to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Deliverable: Meta Ads Strategy Document, outlining budget allocation, ad formats, target audience segmentation, and KPIs for success.

Implementation Roadmap

  • Outcome: Create a clear, actionable plan for executing the social media strategy with defined roles and timelines.
  • Deliverable: Social Media Implementation Roadmap, including a phased rollout plan and team responsibilities.

Presentation of Strategy

  • Outcome: Effectively communicate the developed social media strategy to Rasant/Straps' stakeholders for approval and buy-in.
  • Deliverable: Presentation Deck, summarizing the strategy, key findings, and proposed actions.



Mentorship

Students will receive comprehensive support throughout the project. This includes access to valuable resources, regular feedback, and personalized guidance from mentors. They will have opportunities for Q&A sessions and collaborative discussions to address any challenges, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to successfully complete their projects.


Additionally, I will provide Letters of Recommendation (LORs) and offer access to my extensive business network, which includes connections in the veteran community from the US Naval Academy. I will actively assist interns in networking and exploring potential employment opportunities through my network.
