The current local websites have inconsistencies in design, layout, and content presentation, which can confuse users and dilute the brand's identity. The goal of this project is to update the local websites to reflect the branding guidelines and design elements of the main AYSO United website. This will involve analyzing the main website's design, identifying discrepancies in the local websites, and implementing the necessary updates to achieve a cohesive look and feel. The project will provide learners with practical experience in web design, branding, and content management.
- A comprehensive audit report detailing the discrepancies between the local websites and the main AYSO United website.
- Updated local websites with consistent branding, including logos, color schemes, fonts, and layout.
- A set of guidelines and best practices for maintaining branding consistency across all local websites.
- A final presentation summarizing the changes made and the impact on user experience and brand identity.
- Generative research: either surveys, user interviews, or observational studies leads to affinity mapping, retrospective journey mapping, POV statements, etc.
- Evaluative research: either usability testing, preference testing, or focus groups leads to organizing and categorizing data, prioritizing usability issues, making recommendations, and iterating based on recommendations
If evaluative research is in scope, students must conduct run usability tests with a minimum of three people and connect the results to usability heuristics.
Intern will be supported and guided by the operation team with support from marketing personnel to aid them to be successful.
Clear direction and support will be given but the individual will have the ability to put their own opinions and feel on the project.
