database management web development user interface (ui) designLearningCITY aims to create an interactive web application that serves as a comprehensive catalogue of informal learning programs available in Calgary. The goal is to provide a user-friendly platform where residents can easily discover and access various learning opportunities outside formal education systems. This project will allow learners to apply their web development skills to create a dynamic and engaging interface. The webapp should include features such as search functionality, program categorization, and user reviews. By completing this project, learners will gain practical experience in web development, user interface design, and database management, all while contributing to the community's educational resources.
The project deliverables include a fully functional web application that lists informal learning programs in Calgary. A part of the project will be to do an environmental scan of the informal learning programs in Calgary and collect and/or scrape data the populate the webapp catalogue. The webapp should feature a searchable database, categorized listings, and a user-friendly interface. Additionally, learners will provide documentation detailing the development process and user instructions. The final deliverable should be a presentation demonstrating the webapp's features and functionality.
