Details

The project aims to enhance the Workforce Management System (WMS) module within Cardwatch 4.0, focusing on optimizing staff scheduling, timekeeping, compliance, and labor cost management for healthcare, senior living, and educational communities. The problem at hand is the inefficiency in manual scheduling and timecard management, which often leads to errors and increased labor costs. The goal is to develop a streamlined, user-friendly interface that integrates drag-and-drop shift creation, mobile punching with geofencing, and compliance automation. By aligning labor demand with meal plan census and historical sales, the system will ensure optimal staffing levels. This project will help reduce manual errors, improve compliance with legal and union rules, and enhance the overall employee experience through mobile-first shift management tools.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a prototype of the enhanced WMS module with a focus on the drag-and-drop scheduling feature and mobile punching capabilities. Additionally, a detailed report outlining the integration process for payroll systems like ADP and Workday will be provided. The project will also deliver a set of user guidelines for the compliance and rules engine, ensuring that all legal and union requirements are met efficiently.
