Details

Our organization is committed to serving our target population. However, we are currently facing funding challenges.

We would like to collaborate with students to develop a fundraising plan to meet our goals.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our mission, values and goals.
  • Familiarizing themselves with our past fundraising activities and donors.
  • Conducting background research on fundraising strategies.
  • Recommending suitable fundraising strategies and creating a timeline / calendar of these activities.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Assisting in implementing new fundraising activities.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our mission, values and goals
  • Understanding of our fundraising history
  • Understanding of fundraising strategies used by similar organizations
  • Creation of a fundraising plan

  • Implementing new fundraising activities

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report with a new fundraising plan.

2slgbtqia+-owned Social Enterprise Community-Focused

Founded in January 2024, CCBI is a budding social enterprise led by professionals from the communities we serve. Building its reputation in tax and accounting services for individuals, nonprofits and charities while advancing economic well-being within underrepresented 2SLGBTQ+ communities through its programming. Our programs enhance financial literacy, economic resilience, and access to essential financial services within grassroots 2SLGBTQ+ networks.

While our core expertise is in taxation, accounting, and financial management, we go beyond traditional financial services by prioritizing education, mentorship, and professional development. Through training and advisory support, we equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills they need to build financial stability. We prioritize working with community-led initiatives and collaborating across diverse sectors to increase mutual skill and knowledge exchanges.
