Hilo Smart Mirror is seeking to create a strategic prospecting process targeting real estate developers across Canada and the United States. We provide turnkey smart mirror solutions that transform residential spaces into interactive digital hubs.


Our primary objectives include:

β€’ Identifying and analyzing qualified prospects among real estate developers, condo developers, multi-residential projects, architects, and interior designers

β€’ Creating a prospect pipeline with extensive company research to populate our CRM system

β€’ Developing personalized prospecting strategies based on specific needs of each market segment

β€’ Establishing initial contact with identified prospects to test and validate developed approaches

β€’ Creating a reproducible process for continuous expansion of our partner network


This initiative will position our smart mirrors as essential solutions for modern residential projects, offering digital hub functionalities for service requests, delivery tracking, intercom systems, smart home control, and premium buyer/tenant experiences.

Deliverables

By the end of this project, students should deliver the following results with specific success metrics:


**RESEARCH & IDENTIFICATION PHASE:**

β€’ Identify AT LEAST 50 qualified prospects among real estate developers, condo developers, and architecture firms across Canada and the United States

β€’ Create detailed company profiles including: recent projects, typical budgets, key decision-makers, differentiation strategies, and technology needs

β€’ Develop comprehensive CRM database with 5 KEY CONTACTS per company (totaling 250+ decision-maker contacts including VP Development, Project Directors, Principal Architects, Construction Managers, and Procurement Specialists)


**STRATEGIC ANALYSIS PHASE:**

β€’ Analyze competition and market positioning for each real estate developer segment

β€’ Create detailed decision-maker personas and identify the most persuasive sales arguments

β€’ Co-create personalized prospecting strategies with our team by developer type (luxury, affordable, commercial, residential)


**IMPLEMENTATION & TESTING PHASE:**

β€’ Test and validate the co-created prospecting strategies through active outreach campaigns

β€’ Execute systematic contact sequences with qualified prospects using developed approaches

β€’ Document feedback, objections, and interest points identified during all interactions

β€’ Measure and analyze response rates, engagement levels, and conversion metrics


**FINAL DELIVERABLES:**

β€’ Complete CRM database with 50+ researched companies and 250+ key contact profiles

β€’ Detailed analysis reports on each prospected company with strategic recommendations

β€’ Tested and validated prospecting strategies with measurable performance data

β€’ Complete documentation of all interactions with comprehensive results analysis

β€’ Reproducible process for continuous prospect pipeline expansion


**SUCCESS METRICS:**

β€’ Minimum 50 qualified companies identified and researched

β€’ Minimum 5 key contacts identified per company (250+ total contacts)

β€’ Co-created and tested prospecting strategy with measurable results

β€’ AT LEAST 10 scheduled meetings/presentations secured
